Youth can take nation to new heights in organized manner: Seminar

Youth and students being future of the nation can take Pakistan to new heights and help scale up the development and progress of the country if they move in an organized manner as responsible citizens.

This was the crux of a seminar organized by the department of ‘Good Governance and Organizational Sciences (GG&OS) at IT Auditorium in National University of Modern Languages (NUML) here on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Director General (DG) of NUML Azam Jamal said good organization is a key to success for every individual and it is the sole secret behind the rise and fall of nations. He called upon the students that they should make themselves organized in every sphere of their lives. Their organized approach to their studies and life will make them a useful and successful professional and citizen in the future.

The Head of the department Syed Usman Shah said there is an ample need to promote the study of the discipline of GG&OS in the present times. “We are living in the world which is the least compromising and most competing. Therefore, we need to have to be very organized and well-governed to prevent wastage of national resources and energies,” he added.

The Deans and Heads of the different departments and a number of students of the university attended the seminar. Different students while expressing their views said that such seminars and lectures in the university are a positive tradition and such more events should be organized to give opportunity to the students of GG&OS, Mass Communication, International Relations (IR) and Social Sciences to learn from their seniors and teachers.
