Railway workers protesting against delay in payment of salaries

With the condition of railway getting bad to worse owing to irregularities and the mismanagement of those in authority that have badly damaged the institutions of Pakistan.

There is not any institution and department in this country which is not engulfed by the rumours and complaints of corruption these days.

Teachers, doctors, politicians, daily wager teachers, lady health workers and the railway workers are seen protesting and demanding justice to be given to them.

Thousands of the railway workers who have not been paid their salaries were compelled to come out and stop the rail engine from moving and they are protesting on the railway station of Rawalpindi, Faisalabad and Karachi. Majority of the workers of the railway on Cantonment station with salary of 5 to 7 were not paid their remuneration of monthly work.

The railway worker in Karachi staged a protest and demanded of the government non-payment of salaries and blocked the way of the trains in Faisalabad too. They are of the view that they are not going to be dispersed until their salary is paid.

Even in Quetta province the railway workers are also protesting about their salary issue. They have also come on the street for the non-payment of their salary. In Quetta there was also a protest of railway workers against the closure of the electricity. They have also stopped the flow of Jaffer Express, Bolan Express and Quetta Express which was about to leave the station but that was also stopped by the workers as they demanded the government to restore their salary.

The situation of the whole country is going from bad to worse because of the mismanagement’s rampant irregularities in every single institution. Everywhere, there was situation of protest and sit-in.

The poor people always wander for getting justice but in this government, the rich people have also become debased due to the deteriorated and worse situation in our country.
