Nuisance of stray dogs in Rawalpindi

 

Mushroom growth of the stray dogs goes unchecked

 

It has been so long that this area is full of the dogs. Every day the surge in the growth of stray dog is going from bad to worse and people are worried about them. Nobody is bothering to even try to remove the worse situation which they are causing.

 

Their presence is mostly near Katarian, the area surrounding Pirwadai, Raja bazaar, Bani and the residential area near holy family while Siddique Chowk area and the Pindora residents. Muhammad Saleem a mathematic teacher said, “We cannot go outside during night because of the presence of the dogs in the streets causing problems for us. Children and elder people are mostly the victim of this evil which is moving around the city unchecked.”

 

There are hosts of dogs which have become made due to the harsh weather they are facing these days and constantly persists looming threats for the residents of Siddique Chowk area which is already very much congested and these stray dogs are also adding to the miseries of the people living there.

 

“I personally feel very scared of dogs bit because when it bit then one has to inject numbers of injection which is difficult for me and I am already frightened of injection. One of my cousin has also been bitten by the stray dog so he has to go for treatment every now and then with difficulty,” Masood shah said while talking to INFN.

 

Saleem Qasim said that the victim of such dogs is mostly the aged people and the students because these are wandering in the streets and no check has so far been made to eradicate this rubbish present every where.

 

It is a looming threat for the people who can get rabies easily after getting bitten by these mad dogs wandering in the street. If these dogs are not removed from the areas can cause a serious threat to the life people present in the community.
